Description:

How can we recognize the losses of caregivers who accompany a seriously ill person? How can we ensure that they receive quality support throughout the illness, as well as after death? Presented by Isabelle Van Pevenage, institutional researcher at CREGÉS, and Patrick Durivage, coordinator of the Domain of expertise in Palliative Care at CREGÉS, this webinar will look at some of the types of loss and bereavement, and the ecosystem of factors that can influence post-mortem bereavement for caregivers. It will show the degree to which knowledge of and exchanges with caregivers prior to death improve the support offered. Clinical scenarios will be used to anchor the discussion in proven practice.
