<\/span><\/p>\n The Tool for Screening Potential Situations of Sexual Mistreatment Against Older Adults was developed to raise awareness among and support practitioners in the community sector and the health and social services network. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This project follows from the <\/span>Plan d\u2019action gouvernemental pour contrer la maltraitance envers les personnes a\u00een\u00e9es 2022-2027<\/span><\/a> (MSSS, 2022). Within this strategic and legislative context, CREG\u00c9S was mandated to \u201cadd content on sexual mistreatment to existing training programs.\u201d More specifically, the project aims to achieve Objective 3.1, \u201craise awareness and provide training to various stakeholders and settings on the phenomenon of mistreatment,\u201d including Measure 17, which involves \u201cdeveloping tools and training content to address mistreatment, adapted to different living environments,\u201d through the application of the Sex\/Gender-Based Analysis Plus (SGBA+) approach from an intersectional perspective<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n Lastly, this project is also part of Action 38 of the <\/span>Strat\u00e9gie gouvernementale int\u00e9gr\u00e9e pour contrer la violence sexuelle, la violence conjugale et reb\u00e2tir la confiance 2022-2027<\/span><\/a> led by the Secr\u00e9tariat \u00e0 la condition f\u00e9minine (2024). They are intended to raise awareness among and support practitioners in the health and social services network and the community sector in identifying potential situations of sexual mistreatment involving older adults.<\/p>\n This project falls within the scope of the Plan d\u2019action gouvernemental pour contrer la maltraitance envers les personnes a\u00een\u00e9es 2022-2027<\/em> and the law aimed at combating mistreatment of seniors and other persons of full age in vulnerable situations.<\/p>\n It supports the actions of the Strat\u00e9gie gouvernementale int\u00e9gr\u00e9e pour
