Pam Orzeck was a practicing social worker and researcher for 25 years before joining the McGill faculty as an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work. She is involved in direct practice, research, training and knowledge transfer on a variety of social issues related to family caregivers, social gerontology, social policy and mental health.
Dominique Girard is a clinical psychologist who works mainly with bereaved people. She is also a professor at the Département des sciences de la santé at the Université du Québec à Rimouski. Her main research interests are ethical and existential issues related to ageing, end of life, death and bereavement.
