Sabrina Lessard, an institutional researcher at CREGÉS, has received funding for her project entitled ‘”Personnes proches commettant de la maltraitance envers les personnes aînées’: Contextes, interventions et expériences.” The project is being carried out in collaboration with various stakeholders from different sectors involved in countering mistreatment, including the community sector, the health and social services network (RSSS), the Montreal police department, and the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse.

The grant, worth $379,730, was awarded by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture as part of the Action concertée – Programme de recherche sur la maltraitance envers les personnes aînées (2nd competition), in partnership with the Secrétariat aux aînés of the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux.
