The training course, Développer la bientraitance envers les personnes aînées et majeures en situation de vulnérabilité, developed by CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS, is now available on the Environnement Numérique d’Apprentissage (ENA). The course is intended for individuals employed in the health and social services network.

Sarita Israel, coordinator of CREGÉS’ Domain of expertise to Counter the Mistreatment of Older Adults, proudly participated as a consultant in developing and validating the training content.

The main objectives of this training course are to

  • to explain the relevance of adopting practices that promote good treatment;
  • to distinguish between practices that promote good treatment and those that do not;
  • to act with kindness towards a senior or adult in a vulnerable situation.
