Description : This report provides an overview of the implementation of this project, highlighting the approach to promoting good treatment practices in CHSLDs (long-term care facilities) inspired by the guide Démarche de mise en valeur des pratiques de bientraitance “ordinaires” en CHSLD, RI, RPA au Québec : Un travail de mobilisation de tous les acteurs, produced by Sophie Éthier and her colleagues (2021). It also presents the results of an evaluation of this implementation and effects. It shows that the activities (World Café and the circle of good treatment) were perceived, in themselves, as good treatment practices. The World Café provided a space for dialogue, and the circle of good treatment promoted self-determination and empowerment. By recognizing the strengths and capabilities of the participants, the activities enabled them to have a tangible impact on their living environment and to actively participate in changes that affect them. The activities provided opportunities for participants to work together to develop and implement solutions.
