This document from the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS) was designed, on the one hand, to facilitate the understanding and application, within the institutions of the RSSS, of the Act to combat maltreatment of seniors and other persons of full age in vulnerable situations and on the other, to assist facilities in developing their own policies. It is also intended to clarify the respective responsibilities of those involved in implementing and complying with the facility’s anti-mistreatment policy.
