Welcome to the redesigned CREGÉS website!

26 August 2024

You may have noticed that the CREGÉS website has recently undergone a major redesign. It has a new look, but it also offers powerful new features that facilitate access to our work and provide more information about the activities of our membership.

Learn more about the changes below.

New look

With ties to decision-makers, clinical environments, and international research institutions, our membership is growing and carrying out more cutting-edge research every yearThe interface of our website should reflect these fresh perspectives and provide a showcase for their work.

With more space and cleaner lines, the redesigned website offers reduced cognitive load for the user, and larger buttons and new icons make navigation more intuitive. Combined, these user-friendly design features will make learning about our work in social gerontology more accessible to curious minds around the world

Dynamic browsing

Our updated site provides two new hubs for learning about our work: Research and Documentation. Each of these new pages provides a dynamic repository for learning about the contributions of our members. Both allow you to explore by author, subject, language, and title search. These databases improve accessibility by allowing users to browse in the way that suits them best.

Research

On the Research page, you will find a totally new repository of information about CREGÉS research projects. For the first time you can browse all the research projects led by CREGÉS members.

There is a page dedicated to each project, providing information about its timeline, research team, funding, and more. Here, you can get a sense of the breadth and variety of our subjects, methodologies, fields and scopes of our research.

Start here if you want to learn about cutting edge questions in social gerontology research.

Documentation

On the new Documentation page, you can access everything the CREGÉS has helped produce. This includes a wide variety of materials destined for different contexts, like clinical assessment tools, model policies, research briefs, infographics and more. Everything that you used to find under “Achievements” on our old site can now be found here.

Use filters to browse by type of publication, or select a member’s name to see all the tools and writing they produced with CREGÉS. You can search for titles in the keyword search bar and browse by a particular subject (or subjects).

Explore the work of each CREGÉS member

Like before, each of our members has a webpage providing information about their position, background and interests.

Now, on each of these pages you will see two new buttons: See research and See publications. These will display all the CREGÉS research projects this member led, or the CREGÉS publications and tools to which she or he has contributed.

Much of our site remains the same as before!

You can still explore each of our Domains of Expertise under the Expertise tab and use the Activities tab to find upcoming and past webinars and symposiums.

Stay tuned!

Keep checking back, since more of our publications and research projects will be added to the site as they are developed.

You can always write to us using the Contact link at the top of our website, and keep up with us by subscribing to our newsletter and social media feeds linked at the very bottom of every page.
