Now Available: New report and addition of a CREGÉS Conference to better provide the Health and Social Services Network with tools to support caregivers.
16 December 2020

Rapid Response led by the Centre for Research and Expertise in Social Gerontology (CREGÉS)

People living in long-term care (LTC) settings were disproportionately affected during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The LTC settings were faced with significant challenges in their response to the pandemic. Consequently, both residents and their caregivers have been deeply affected.

By virtue of its expertise in the area of caregiving, the Centre for Research and Expertise in Social Gerontology (CREGÉS) produced the report to address the needs of caregivers. It proposes several inspiring practices and recommendations to help the Health and Social Services Network better support caregivers in the context of the pandemic and beyond.
