Itinérance à un âge avancé : impact des services publics sur les trajectoires résidentielles des femmes de plus de 50 ans au YWCA-Québec

This webinar will present the results of an exploratory study on homelessness among women over 50. Based on the accounts of women housed at the YWCA-Québec and the testimonies of homelessness workers, the study is grounded in a theoretical framework based on New Public Management (NPM) and the life course. The aim is to gain a better understanding of how these structures influence women’s loss of housing and their chances of re-housing. Concrete examples will illustrate the findings and provide a better understanding of the specific challenges faced by these women, as well as explore concrete ways to improve the services that influence their pathways.
