CREGES is pleased to welcome Pierre Tricher and Rachel Weldrick to its team of researchers!
Pierre Tircher, Ph.D.
Pierre Tircher is an assistant professor at the School of Industrial Relations at the University of Montreal. His research focuses primarily on changes in public employment and retirement policies, transitions to retirement, and the continued employment of older workers. Using mainly survey microdata, he takes an interdisciplinary approach to studying inequalities among subgroups of the elderly population and formulating public policy recommendations to mitigate them.
Rachel Weldrick, Ph.D.
Rachel Weldrick is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at Concordia University. A gerontologist and housing specialist, she is interested in the links between aging, social inclusion, and the living environment. She earned her PhD in Social Gerontology from McMaster University, where she was a recipient of a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship and studied the risk factors related to living environments that contribute to social isolation among older adults.
