  3. NEW DATES: CREGÉS Lunch and Learn series : Personnes âgées marginalisé·e·s au Québec : mieux comprendre pour mieux agir

IMPORTANT : New dates for two of the three conferences of the series

The CREGÉS Lunch and Learn Series, Personnes âgées marginalisées au Québec : mieux comprendre pour mieux agir, consists of three webinars presenting the findings and key insights from the research project, “Les actions gouvernementales au Québec : impacts sur des personnes aînées marginalisées ou vivant des dynamiques d’exclusion sociale.” The project is led by Patrik Marier, Scientific Director of CREGÉS, and Meghan Joy, CREGÉS researcher.
The series, presented in French only, first addresses issues related to service coordination and governance, highlighting blind spots within the system. The following webinars will focus on two of the six marginalized older populations examined in the study: older adults living with severe mental illness (SMI) and LGBTQ+ older adults.
The webinars will also present practical tools and strategies for working with these populations. This series is intended for practitioners, managers, decision-makers, researchers, and community organizations. It aims to promote reflection and action to foster more inclusive practices and public policies for marginalized older adults in Quebec.
