Presentation of two tools for assessing the risks and needs of caregivers : Learn more about AIDE-Proches and the Grille de dépistage auprès des personnes proches aidantes.
Following the MSSS’s publication of the Cadre de référence : Reconnaître les personnes proches aidantes comme partenaires pour mieux les soutenir, which is a tool for assessing the needs of caregivers, the CREGÉS updated and made available two tools: AIDE-Proches (CARE-Tool) and the Grille de dépistage auprès des personnes proches aidantes (Caregiver Risk Screen), which is a tool for assessing the risks of caregiving situations. Nancy Guberman and Mathilde Pouliot, members of the team behind this mandate, will give a two-part presentation. The first session will provide context for the update mandate, present the tools and their objectives, and discuss the importance of assessing the needs of informal caregivers.
Objectives:
- Understand how to use the tools and identify their objectives.
- Recognize situations where the tools are relevant.
- Understand the context in which the tools are being updated.
